Insurance
We gladly file your insurance claims for you! Our office can help you maximize your insurance plan so you receive all the benefits entitled. Insurance claims are submitted after each visit. Most claims are paid within 10-14 days, if after 60 days no payment is received we will ask you become responsible for the balance and will then work with you to be reimbursed by the insurance company. Our fees may be different than what your policy will allow, this is very common for most dental insurance polices allowing for only 40% of usual and customary dental fees. The patient is responsible for the total fee and will be expected to make up for any deficiencies in the insurance coverage. Please review your policy carefully and communicate with us about any concerns. We are here to help you sort through the confusing issues related to your dental insurance and would be happy to discuss our fees and policies with you at any time. We will give you an estimate of what your insurance plan should cover, but rember this is only an estimate and in no way a guarantee of insurance payment or compliance.
Patient Payment
We accept cash, check, Master Card, Visa, American Express, and Discover Card. If needed, we will gladly assist you in obtaining third party financing through our partnership with CareCredit. Through this partnership we can offer convenient monthly payment options, no up-front costs, no prepayment penalties and no annual fees. All patients are responsible financially for their account.
Missed or Broken Appointments
We will confirm your appointment with e-mail and a phone call, or whatever form of communication works best for you. We know emergencies will arise and we work with you as best we can. Please keep in mind a specific amount of time is reserved just for you with Dr. Turnbow or the hygienist. If you must change your appointment, we request at least 48 hours notice.
