Wonderful experience! Every aspect of this dental office, from the receptionists, to the dental assistants, to the dentist herself, is top-notch. I don't believe I have never waited more than a few minutes in the waiting area and there is free coffee and water. The staff is efficient, professional, and they have a knack for remembering you and family members. They are always asking about my kids and spouse. They really care and it shows. If your dental insurance covers more than expected, you will be given a prompt refund in the form of a check or credit toward your next visit. Only good things to say after 3-4 years of coming here.

Gruene Family Dental is great! I give Dr. Turnbow and her crew 5 stars because they are all nice, professional, and gentle with everything they do. They have state of the art equipment making X-rays, teeth cleaning, and crowns and bridges as easy as it can be. If there are procedures you need done, they send a detailed estimate with insurance included. I highly recommend them for all your dental needs!

This is one of the best dental offices I have ever been to. I felt very comfortable throughout my whole appt. My questions were answered and I never felt rushed. Due to a broken crown over the weekend, I was in need of dental services ASAP. Dr. Turnbow contacted me and provided an appointment the next morning. During that appointment the crown was examined, removed, and a temporary crown was prepared, covering me until the replacement crown was received. When you haven't been to the dentist in a really long time, you may expect some condescension from the doctor and staff; however, this was not the case with Dr. Turnbow and her staff. Dr. Turnbow is highly professional and will meet with you before heading to an exam room to get your history and talk about what your end goal is. After that has been established you are handed off to her very adept staff for your examination, which in my case involved a panoramic x-ray of my mouth and bite wing x-rays in the exam room. After looking over the x-rays, we decided on a course of action, which required a deep cleaning over 2 consecutive days (I said I hadn't been in a long time) and a referral to an oral surgeon to get some useless wisdom teeth removed. During the process of deep cleaning, the doctor was forthcoming with what would be going on starting with the type of local anesthetics to be used and what a deep cleaning entailed. After being locally anesthetized, Sarah took over with the deep cleaning and handled it very deftly and regularly checking on my well-being and state of mind; although being asked non yes or no questions with a mouth full of tools can make answering difficult. The second day, was much the same, except Dr. Turnbow was doing the deep cleaning which she did deftly as well. Additionally, I had two more bite-wing x-rays to make sure that the cleaning went as expected. All-in-all, this was a very positive experience after being apprehensive about the level of treatment I was expecting to have done, and while I wouldn't volunteer for it again, I certainly would have no compunctions about having Dr. Turnbow and her staff do it again.

We had just recently moved to New Braunfels and I experienced a really bad tooth problem. I received a recommendation for the Gruene Family Dental practice and called them and they scheduled me within 3 hours. I was very impressed with the entire staff and Dr. Turnbow. They explained everything as it transpired and Kimberly walked me through the diagnosis and recommended treatment in great detail. I was very happy with the entire process and with Dr. Turnbow's approach and professionalism. It turned out I needed a root canal and they immediately got me a referral and I was seen and treated within 2 hours. One of the best experiences I have ever encountered in the medical profession!!

As always, my experience at your dentist office was great. Your office staff are friendly, warm and inviting. Dr.Turnbow is always so friendly. This visit was even more special because it was my four year old's first visit. After this one check up we were FINALLY able to stop her from sucking her fingers which were causing obvious dental damage.
